Welcome in!

Hey lovely people! Happy Wednesday. When preparing for our housewarming party last month, we decided that we needed to add some "us" to the entryway. Afterall, it's the first thing people see when we welcome them into our home! With a few items from Target and Pier1, we've got a good thing going! The best part? This mirror came with the best instructions I have ever seen.

Missing a little something above the table...

This runner is perrrrrrfect!

OBSESSED with the detailing of this table!

"In all the world, there is but one you!"

The best directions to install the mirror!

Et voila!

Weekend Download

What a busy weekend we had! First of all, Johnno finally came home after a long three weeks of traveling. I was so excited to see him and so was Bogey! Friday night was IZEA Loco though, so our family reunion was cut short so I could tear it up at Colonial Lanes. My team was "Bowl Down for What" so naturally we dressed up as the brilliant minds that created the hit jam and those that made the video into the wacky 3:37 minutes it is. If you've never seen or heard of DJ Snake, here he is:

Basically the same thing

Saturday morning we headed out to Wekiva Springs for some much needed sunlight recovery & celebrating Mealsie and Tiffancy. Friday was a bit rough on the liver, but it was a blast! We played volleyball, swam, and soaked up the sun. Also, Lynda made everyone want a GoPro! (guilty) We've affectionately called it the #selfiestick.

The rest of my weekend was spent with Stephanie preparing to host Kate's baby shower! We absolutely loved hosting for our sweet friend. Baby Wyatt is one lucky boy! I'll be doing a whole post on the shower, but here's a taste of what's to come!

Hope you all had a weekend! Did you do anything fun?

Travel Itch: St. Kitts

This post brought to you by St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino. All opinions are 100% mine.

(I didn't plan on rhyming in the title - but it happened so ... there you go!)

If you know me, I've always got the itch to travel. As the daughter of a pilot, that will happen! So where am I itching to visit this time? St. Kitts of course! We traveled to the caribbean for our honeymoon and loved it. St. Kitts has so much to offer. You can hike, zip-line through the rainforest, and of course - golf! If you're the type of person that wants to simply relax and have your every need catered to, then you'll have to check out St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino! Not only is it gorgeous, but it has everything you need for a great "off the beaten path" vacation.  There's even a championship golf course, the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club, right on the property - J would go nuts! He can spend the day practicing while I'm relaxing at this fantastic pool and maybe hop over to the ocean, too!

You can take advantage of the St. Kitts Marriott Super Sand Dollars offer: stay 4 nights and get 3 nights free! Yes, you read that right: 3 free nights! That gives you so many more days to fill with activities like snorkling, spa time, and one of my favorites, shopping. Speaking of shopping... I'd obviously have to pick up a few essentials for beaching in St. Kitts! Check out my wish list:

This is a view I could definitely get used to!

Check out the St. Kitts Tourism page and everything the St. Kitts Marriott Resort has to offer! What would you do with your extra 3 nights? Tell me in the comments below - also, who wants to go on a girl's trip!?

Rude and Rebuttal

By now, everyone has heard Magic's song, Rude. It's definitely a catchy one! Have you heard the rebuttal? I just found it the other day - thought it was quite good. Someone give this dad a record deal!

Enjoy your Wednesday! :)

Find your #BestFitEver with A&F

This post brought to you by Abercrombie & Fitch. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ladies - if you're like me, you're always on the search for the perfect jeans at a great price! Luckily, I'll look no further because Abercrombie & Fitch has any jeans in store for $35. Yes - $35! I've always spent a fortune on my jeans because I thought that I just had to in order to get the best fit.

Now I'm all set with A&F! Their jeans have a lot going for them:
  • No-slip waistbands with memory stretch (so you don't have to worry about them fitting weird after you wash them....they last wash after wash!)
  • Always-flattering waistband that lays flat and never cuts in (yay!)
  • Wide range of washes from super washed out lights to rich dark rinses - I'm a huge fan of the darker washes
  • Range of fits that make it easy to shape to your style or mood - laid back fit of The Boyfriend jean or the classic fit of The Jean Legging (my personal favorite - check them out below)

I put together a little A&F wishlist... take note J! ;)

Impromptu Trips are the Best Trips

We decided to take a trip out to Savannah this weekend to meet up with Bren, Emily, and sweet Evelyn. It was totally spontaneous and oh so worth it! Although we only got to spend a few hours together, we made the most of it. Here are a few photos of one of my favorite places:
